International Women’s Day 2017 – Yes, We Have Come A Long Way

The women’s suffrage back in 1848 was actually the first movement for women’s rights.  The first gathering was held in July 19-20, 1848 in Seneca Falls New York.  Their sentiments echoed the Declaration of Independence “We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men and women are created equally.”  At first social and institutional barriers were addressed, the lack of educational and existing economic opportunity barriers were an issue.  In 1918 the United States gave women equal voting rights in all states and the 19th Amendment was ratified in 1920.

During the Women’s March on January 21, 2017 Madonna addressed a group of women saying “not only women are in danger, but all marginalized people.”  When actually it is she and her cohorts that continue to marginalize women, by dividing us and making us feel like we are not included, because we don’t except their globalized vision and revolutionary tactics against our government.  Madonna made a [VIDEO] for the women in Washington who were striking on March 8, 2017:  what exactly her message was 🤷‍♀️who knows: Madonna, Her Story, Women Who Fight for Freedom

It seems Melania Trump didn’t wear red as dictated to by the #ADayWithoutWomen liberal cause and they were all up in arms about it.  So what you nutty people, your cause is not our cause!  The liberals just can’t leave people alone, always attacking the conservatives/nationalists both verbally and some physically.

We as women could not get through the day without the dummies in Washington, D.C., who strayed away from the actual theme of what International Women’s Day actually is suppose to represent.  Rosie O’Donnell is one of course who couldn’t be happy with how far we as women have come since the suffrage movement.  She tweeted idiotic tweets to President Trump and Ivanka.  “Squandering a chance to make a real difference, enabler Ivanka will probably never be remembered fondly. Happy #internationalwomensday,” Rosie tweeted.

Linda Sasour was arrested for disorderly conduct in front of Trump Tower.  She and others were told by police to disburse and they didn’t comply.

It seems that the far left turned a day which is suppose to be remembered for Women’s advances in society into a sick #daywithoutawomen march for restructuring of the welfare system, free education for all.  The “new feminist-movement” is part of their platform which means backing Black Lives Matter, demand for open borders everywhere, just to name a few.  To me this was what the majority of  Americans were against.  That is why President Trump was elected.  It just seems like they can’t let a dead horse rest!

Women all over the world celebrated this day and some like Saudi Arabia who actually attained voting rights in December 2015, actually saw how far they have come.  Yes, we have come a long way and that is what International Women’s Day means.

Interesting to note, there is also an International Men’s Day.  It is celebrated on November 15th.
