Trump, Possible Travel Ban Proclamation

June 12, 2017

If the Supreme Court rules against a stay on the President’s Tavel Ban, he could issue a proclamation to end entry by aliens who could be deemed from terrorist countries, for as long as necessary. He has the right under 8 US Code 1182

A proclamation according to the Free Dictionary: PROCLAMATION, evidence. The act of causing some state matters to be published or made generally known. A written or printed document in which are contained such matters, issued by proper authority; as the president’s proclamation, the governor’s, the mayor’s proclamation. The word proclamation is also used to express the public nomination made of any one to a high office; as, such a prince was proclaimed emperor. It’s evidence!

if issued under a valid claim of authority and published,[4] have the force and effect of law[5] and courts are required to take judicial notice of their existence.[6]

The below information was announced on Twitter today by Cliff Sims who is the President’s special assistant.

This is an excerpt from Cornell Law School, what is not admissible under the US code:

The most famous proclamation that I can think of was when Abraham Lincoln issued the emancipation proclamation.

The Bible Speaks About Borders and Sovereignty

April 1, 2017

There is nothing wrong with wanting a country to remain sovereign, with its own borders.  The Bible mentions several times about borders, which God himself placed there.

God makes it very clear in Acts 17-26: “and he made for man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place…”

In Numbers 20:14-21: “Please let us pass through your land. We will not pass through field or vineyard, or drink water from a well…we will not turn aside to the right hand or to the left until we have passed through your territory.” The king’s response? “You shall not pass through.” Moses tries a second time to secure an entrance visa. “We will go up by the highway, and if we drink of your water, I and my livestock, then I will pay for it. Let me only pass through on foot, nothing more.”

In Joshua, the promised land was divided into 12 tribes. Important to note, the reading is very detailed and thorough as to where the boundaries are to be. In Joshua 15 the word boundary is used no less than 15 times in describing the perimeter of Judah.

So, borders were and are important to God.  Our U.S. border near Mexico and Canada should be respected, as it is God’s law.

Mexicans are mostly of the Catholic religion, I am surprised that they and the Pope do not respect God’s word. Permission to enter is to be sought, and if denied should not be questioned. Neither should one sneak across, under, over, smuggled in etc…
